  1. I captured from dvcamcorder by firewire with scenalyzer to an avi file, then used tmpgenc plus 2.5 to encode to m2v&wav files using the wizard for DVD. I then took the wave file and converted to ac3 and when adding m2v file to Tmpgenc DVD gives me this error "The video sequence header is incorrect. A video sequence header is necessary for every GOP in a standard DVD"

Reel DVD won't even accept the file, NeroVision 2e just freezes.

The m2v file is 704x480 , interlaced, and used 2-Pass VBR for encoding. I've done this 4 times and got really good dvds, but this time I don't know what happened. The only difference from the other files I used on the other dvds, is that the others are 720x480. Is this the problem?

My question, is this fixable? and How can I do this?
Thx in advance. Please help, cause I deleted the original avi from computer and dvcamcorder!!

    Hi,

    I'm having the same problem.

I've done a fair bit of hunting, and found these in the forum:

    https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=457610&highlight=header+gop#457610

    http://www.lordsmurf.com/convert/tmpgenc/tmpgencplus.htm

I don't know if they'll help as I've only found them today (I shall try when home), but I thought I'd let you know as I notice that there's been no replies to your post.

    Good luck...
