So far, and tell me if you've had a different experience, this is my experience on what effect it has to a video to divide it into programs....
I like having the ability to jump to different parts of a home video without having to skip through the whole video to find the place I want to go. In other words, I like to have menus. Therefore, I create all of these divisions in the video.
It in turn creates these horrible freezes between each division once the DVD-R is finalized. But I still feel like being able to have the menus makes up for the freezes. Does anyone else feel this way?
Or is another option of menus to create a play list? I still haven't tried this feature.
Anyway, my last comment on this is that I noticed that when I play the same DVD-R on my computer, that the the screen doesn't freeze between each division. It just sort of jumps to the next program. Sure it's noticeable, but it looks a lot better than the whole screen freezing up before it continues.
Now I'm wondering how it will look on other DVD players. Any experience?
