  1. DVDShrink - Invalid IFO, reason: unknown
I get this when I point Shrink to a DVD I've ripped in the past in both file and ISO mode.
    Any ideas?
    Oh, what is 'warez?'

  3. Shrink can't even open the DVD. It takes a sec then I get "invalid IFO the reason is: unknown" I just tried a different DVD and got the same error.
DVD Decrypter will rip in file (all files) mode but I get alot of errors. ISO works fine.

  4. install Force ASPI. Open the DVD in a player like Power DVD for a few seconds then try to rip.

  5. i use to get smiliar errors, and in the end (after various testing and mehtods) it turned out to be the dvd-rom drive itself (pioneer 120s). I got an el cheapo drive in it's place, and the problems went away.

  8. i had another drive then saw the liteon-166 at walmart for 45.00. I picked it up because it read the dvd-ram format and can use that to my advantage at times.
Not sure about rating but so far its working very well and rips pretty quickly
