    Interesting, never seen that one before. Sounds like something is messed up; MP1 sound? How can you lose you PCM codec?

    TMPGEnc can do MPEG1 Layer 1, 2, or 3. Just change it in the Audio settings pane. What else do you need?

    BTW, Any player that can play MPG1Layer2 should be able to also play Layer1.

  4. Thanks for the replies. The problem is that I can view the video but there's no audio. WMP is always trying to download a codec but failed. I opened the files that have this problem with AVIcodec, the results are:
    Video - [MPEG 2/DVD]
    Audio - [MPEG 1 audio layer 1 or 2]

    Any ways to solve this problem?
