I downloaded a trial copy of Premiere Pro from adobe and try to edit my DV video which I captured in "wide movie" mode from my Panasonic GS70 camera. It is not a real 16:9 movie I think but in long stripe with large portion of black on top and bottom.
When starting Premiere Pro, I chose NTSC 16:9 DV editing mode. I then apply a title for a few seconds to some video clips. After I export them, I found the video with Titles are not wide screen (with black area at sides, and of top, down). The video without Title is still in wide screen mode (no black area at sides).
Can I ask how to retain the wide screen format when adding Titles (text) on video with Premiere Pro?
Or shouldn't I use wide-screen mode on my DV camera anymore in the future?
Thanks.
