I am not interested in buying one, but when I seen it in the Best Buy paper I was curious to know if anyone has one and if they are happy with it?

    From HP site:
The external HP DVD movie writer dc3000 with built-in analog video capture lets you quickly and easily transfer home video directly from tape (via camcorder or VCR) to DVD. The included suite of software lets you edit video, photos, music, and data applications, plus write and read CD-R and CD-RW discs as well as DVD+R/+RW.

    • transfer and edit home videos (and even print DVD case covers) with one easy-to-use device
    • preserve your video memories on long-lasting DVDs
    • bring photos and home movies to life with special effects, music, and more
    • transform home movies with digital magic; enjoy them in a whole new way
    • make original DVDs and CDs
