I posted earlier that I was having problems burning with my LG-GMA-4020b, well, I found out that I can burn DVD-RW no problems but I can't finalize a DVD-R. I've burnt Dreamcather, Indiana Jones Collection on DVD-RW no problem what so ever, I try to copy it to DVD-R, with about 3 minutes left they all stop and give me an error. Any help?

    Thanks

  2. What burn software are you using? What speed are you burning at? What media are you using?

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

I've been using DVDDecrypter to rip the DVD's, and to burn them I used InstantCopy v7, for all my DVD's and never had a problem until lately. I burned the DVD's @ 1x nice and slow. I've used Memorex and Optodisc. I never had a problem until lately, I've tried Italian Job, Charlie's Angels to see if it was the movies I had rip and done it wrong, but no still the same error. I can copy over RW no problem, but a regular DVD-R, 3 minutes left and it stops and give me an error.

Stop burning at 1x. If it's 2.4x media, burn at 2.4x - burning at 1x will cause the burns to be all messed up.

This is NOT like burning a CD, unfortunately. Slower is NOT better.
