  1. I have read horrible posts regarding this program. Besides having numerous bugs in all versions, DVDXCopy creates its own ANNOYING Title page.

Personally, I have found other programs to backup a DVD that work better...

    1) Intervideo DVDCopy (+ DVD Region-Free to crack protection)
    2) DVD Shrink v3.0 beta 5
    3) CloneDVD (+ DVD Region-Free to crack protection)
    4) DVD2One (+ DVD Region-Free to crack protection)

I just found DVD2One and read on this forum that it provides the best quality when ripping only the Movie (no menus, extras). I choose to use Intervideo DVDCopy to make a complete backup of a DVD. It can compress a DVD-9 DVD to a DVD-5 DVD-R with excellent quality. As a test, I had it do the whole Matrix Reloaded DVD and could not find any pixelations.

The only reson you see so many using the crappy DVD X COPY
is that it was the first program out with these capabilities..
    Some users never moved on..
    Then there's also their advertising
campaigns that obviosly surpass any other product except PINNACLES INSTANT COPY -also lousy- .
They have additionaly snagged NEWS HEADLINES for their court fight for FAIR USE

so all we can continue to do is Popularize the good stuff
DVD FAB, DVD 2 ONE and DVD SHRINK (not to mention IFO.edit)

  4. I like DVDXCopy. The program is good for making perfect dvd backups and besides its extremely easy to remove the warning. I've tried almost all the other programs except for DVDCopy, IC7, and FAB. DVDXCopy isn't any more worst or any better than the rest of them.
