  1. Hi, I'm in desperately in need of help!

I have a DVD-R with a very ugly text-only menu (generated by a Panasonic DVD-recorder). I want to copy the VOB files from that DVD-R to my harddrive, and then re-burn them to a new DVD-R, but with a nicer menu that i want to create.

Is this possible? Which program is the best? I don't need super-proffessional looking menus, it's more important that the program is user-friendly and is able to add files already in VOB format, and create a decend looking menu for this.

Most programs I try, always asume the files i want to add are in MPG, AVI etc.
I have tried NeroVision, but it doesn't work properly. When i add the VOB files, it tells me that they are like 8 seconds long each (they are really at least more than 3 minutes each).

Any other suggestions on what programs i should try?
    I'm thankful for all replies!

TMPGEnc DVD Author let's you import VOB files and then you can make your own menu with it.

Download it and try it. It will work (full featured) for 30 days and then you will have to register it (i.e., buy it).

So for 30 days you get to try it for free.

    Can't beat that

Plus I mentioned it because it works for me rather well

You can also use DVD-lab and import the vobs directly.

  4. Thanks guys!

Both your suggested programs are good, they add the VOB files, however i get the same error with them as I did with NeroVision, i'll post that problem as a new topic right now.
