i burned a divx file over using TMPGE and still my easy cd creator claims it wont work. It claims " to make this file cd compliant, i will need to use an mpeg encoder that supports video cd encoding. i thought thats what tmpge would do for me..... i have tried avi and divx files and neither work.....someone please help me as i am running out of hard drive space...what should i do ???????????

In the bottom right corner of TMPGenc there's thee buttons:
Settings Load Save
1) Click on load
2) Find the VCD template (NTSC or PAL as necessary)
You're not ready to encode using the 'standard' VCD template. Some people like to use other templates or change the standard template to make a xVCD. xVCD doesn't mean better quaility just 'non-standard.' I could raise or lower the quaility (say to get a 120min movie on 1 80min CDR).
Hope this helps. Take a look at the conversion faqs to the left:

Click Load, make sure you are in the folder you installed TMPGEnc, then click Template. Then choose one that starts with VideoCD.
