  1. i burned a divx file over using TMPGE and still my easy cd creator claims it wont work. It claims " to make this file cd compliant, i will need to use an mpeg encoder that supports video cd encoding. i thought thats what tmpge would do for me..... i have tried avi and divx files and neither work.....someone please help me as i am running out of hard drive space...what should i do ???????????

  2. Are you selecting Video-CD in TMPGE, not just MPEG-1?

  4. In the bottom right corner of TMPGenc there's thee buttons:

    Settings Load Save

    1) Click on load
    2) Find the VCD template (NTSC or PAL as necessary)

    You're not ready to encode using the 'standard' VCD template. Some people like to use other templates or change the standard template to make a xVCD. xVCD doesn't mean better quaility just 'non-standard.' I could raise or lower the quaility (say to get a 120min movie on 1 80min CDR).

  5. i clicked on load but dont know what templates there are...nothing is there......i just tried and chose vcd from the setting button and the only thing that wasnt acceptable in easy cd creator was the frame size... i am sorry but i still just dont get it...i guess im just a dummy...lol

  6. Click Load, make sure you are in the folder you installed TMPGEnc, then click Template. Then choose one that starts with VideoCD.
