I have some wav files, and I want to edit them (cut it down). I do this in Audacity and export it as wav (to save it right). Ok but then Real One player, which is the default to play wavs and mp3s, doesn't recognise it. It says I need a special plug in. But its WAV? So what exactly does this mean? Does Audacity give its its own tag or something? The file plays in media player, but not real player, so I want to know how I could fix this.
Thanks.

I used to laugh at those who liked to gawk at Lara Croft, until one day, when I realised I'm in love with Solid Snake! >.<

If you ripped the .wav's from a DVD(AC3 first) then they are not 44.1 PCM .wav files....they are 48. That MIGHT be your problem....MAYBE.

Try to load them in Windows AudioRecorder or Windows Mediaplayer and look for the kbps. Do a "save as" in Windows AudioRecorder as PCM .wav 44.1 - that will also enable you to make a CD of the music. Anything else and CD burning programs won't make an audio CD of it.
