    Similar experience: last february I purchased a Pyro A/V Link and it worked fine untill a few weeks ago: the green power light kept blinking and recording went well for a number of minutes, then went bad etc...
    I replaced the exterior power unit by another (better) one: no deal
    so I returned it to the retailer and 2 weeks later I got a brand new one;
    so far that works fine

  2. I just got my Pyro A/V Link a few days ago (directly from ADS thru an RMA - I had two DOA units). I'm running a JVC HR-S7600U VCR, and if I enable the Video Stabilization and other nice features that make video look good on a regular TV I get a million dropped frames and unusable DV from the ADS box. If I disable all that stuff there are very few dropped frames. Anybody have a clue what's going on? I really want to use the excellent processing on the JVC VCR for my captures.

    BTW, I can capture DV from my DV camcorder without a single dropped frame. Perfect all the time!

  3. Sent off a email letter to them on some strange problems I am having.

    Dark/light flashing on NON MV stuff. Both standard tv signal through various tunners and homemade tapes. But the biggest one is it randomly flips the Frames Either B first A second like it supost to be for DV data or the reverse. It makes for some strange video. Normally need to reboot the box mutiple times to get it to come out correct.

    No problems using a camcorder feedthrough using the same "pipe". Or even my old DC10+ capture card.
