    i need to extract an audio track of a dvd i have and want to know what is the mosr user friendly software is, i have downloaded besweet and a GUI but i get confused how to do it anyone point me in the right direction??

  2. look for shareware stuff that does DVD to MP3 or wav ripping (one-click procedure). IMTOO DVD Audio Ripper is one vendor ($30). DVD to mp3 v3.0 from another i cannot think of. good luck

    how do i use besweet and a gui to rip audio from a DVD, any chance of a guide?????

  4. I don’t know about the quality, but DVD2AVI can extract a DVD audio track to WAV, just load the ripped vobs, select the audio track, output method decode to wav, normalization if needed, and then save project.

    ok ive done that and it has created several file into my chosen folder....V.O.B files and B.U.P files VTS file and a TS file whats the next step, cant seem to understand the guides ???

  8. If you already have DVD2AVI then just start that program, select file, then open, go to the folder where you ripped the DVD, select the first vob and it should automatically load the rest of them, after that follow the instruction in my first reply

    thanks for the advice guys ive just done it i used

    dvd decrypter
    dvdtoAVI
    AC3tool

    quality seems fine, thanks for sticking with a newbie to this sort of stuff!!!!

    AAARGH got up thi smorning to do some converting and the thing wont work, im sure im doing what i did last night, I go to dvdtoavi and open the vob file, then goto audio and select track, then select decode output to wav , then save project, BUT it wants to save it as a DVDtoAVI project!!!!!! and last night im sure it saved as a WAV file as i used ac3tool to change it to MP3 any ideas,im going mad!!!

    Ive sorted it!!! what i didnt realise is that i have to dvd decrypt the DVD again to rip the file,

    When I take audio from a DVD......I skip one step in your method. I don't use DVD2AVI. I go directly from DVDDecrypter to AC3Tool.

  15. #1 DVD Audio Ripper is what you need.it can rip dvd audios to mp3,wav,ogg,wma.support to edit start time and end time.
