  1. Recently when putting a DVD+RW in my Sony DRU500A DVD burner, an error message appears. The error appears when using the Drag To Disc feature of the Roxio software. The error is titled Windows Explorer and reads Drive E Is Unaccessable. After I clear the message, the drive uses Drag To Disc without problem. Normally when I put a DVD+RW disc in the drive, a window opens displaying the files on the disc. This no longer happens and the error message appears. Could any one help me with this problem.

    Thank You

    What are you doing?

I don't have ROXIO's newest (6) but follow me here..

    NEVER USE DRAG TO DISC

it creates a un-finalized DVD DISC that will not read in other dvd-rom drives

go to add remove.. please remove ROXIO 6..
and re-install without the "DIRECT CD" component
this component will confict with burning DVD's in many cases..
SO, you've been warned..DO NOT USE DRAG TO DISC

please burn the files(I think they call it 'CLASSIC' in ROXIO 6) to your DVD-RW and format and erase in between uses

    Anyone have a different opinion?
Did anyone know If DIRECT CD(drag to disc) works in 6?...It was useless in 5--- unless you are a corporate worker in a fortune 500 company that only uses DVD burner to back up doc's (NO VIDEO USES)

  3. I agree with you about version 5, but version 6 does finalize the DVD+RW disc everytime it is ejected. These discs once they are ejected, can be read on any DVD-ROM drive. I do this all the time. To date, which has been since version 6 has come out, I have had no conflicts, caused by Drag To Disc, with my other burning software. Anyway, thank you for your reply!
