  1. Hello,

I have been using SmartRipper 2.41 for a while now with no complaints, but it seems like this program is becoming outdated. On some discs like "28 Days later", I get an error that tells me it can't find some of the keys on the disc.

Can anyone tell me what that means? Can any recommend another DVD ripping programs that is more up to date and robust?

    Thanks.

  2. DVD Shrink is probably the most up to date. it can be used to do a direct rip if you set it correctly or to transcode and compress the movie as well. DVD Decryptor is also probably more up to date and a very good program.

  3. DVD Decrypter 3.1.7.0 just came out.

But you should try to play the movie with a software player (WinDVD, PowerDVD) and leave on pause right before you start ripping. That usually helps unlocking. Later you can close the player.
You stop me again whilst I'm walking and I'll cut your fv<king Jacob's off.
