Is 4x a good speed for Ritek G04's, and a Pioneer 106D?
I'm going to be buying some G03's or G04's soon and I just want to know if burning at 4x is not to fast, and may lower compatibility

I have used that combo (A06) and G04s for over 75 movie backups, all at 4x, and had only one disc that had issues. Even that disc was watchable, is simply just had some intermittent video skipping. At 4x this combination is incredible reliable.

NEC 1300A at 4x rocks. Less than 15 minutes for total burning. Using RITEK G04's @ 5 for $5.99 on sale locally. My first 50 had only 3 coasters, all from DVDDecryptor not supporting buffer underrun correctly.
