I am having problem loading up the MPEG2 file. Heres what I did
->DaemonTool
--> loading cue/bin and play with PowerDVD/RealOne/WinMedia
---> Error - "not supported" or "ClassFactory cannot supply requested class (Error=80040111)"
->Burn onto a cd
--> using nero 5. got a "complient" or something like that error, I continue burn it. back to error as above.
->Converting with following programs
-->TMPEG
---> Not supported ( I read this https://www.videohelp.com/tmpgenc.htm#problems ) and tried it. It didn't work
-->Rad Video Tool
---> Not supported
-->WinMPG
--->"invalidate format media file"
-->FlaskMPEG
--->the program just freezes after I open the file
I did install MPEG2 codecs, I actually reinstall them over 3 times ( it doesn't count other MPEG2 codecs )
so I ran Bitrate Viewer on the file
-------------------------------------------------
Num. of picture read: 32266

DCT precision: 8
Pic. structure: Frame
Field topfirst: No
DCT type: Field

sounds like a corrupted file ?

svcd to avi (little bit trickier)
1. mount cue in daemon tools
2. run dvd2avi/file/open (load avsque01 from mpeg2 folder in virtual cd)
3. save avi (choose codec) this will save 2 files (one with .avi one with .mpa extensions
4. rename *.mpa exstension to *.mp2 (*=name of movie)
5. open winamp press ctrl +p /plugins/output/outdisk.dll
6. tick convert to pcm format and choose output destination
7. play file (this will give you a wav file with 001_ at beginning)
8. open virtualdub/ file/open video file (input *.avi)
9. video /select direct stream copy
10. audio/select full proccesing mode then wav audio and input the 001_*.wav file)
11. audio/compression (select one ie:mp3 192kbs)
12 file/ save as avi (title and save)
----------------------------
I found this article, I am currently converting my first file ( 20+ minutes left )
I'll let you guys know how it goes
( one part was different is #2, it didn't have MPEG2's file, so I had to choose all file type and choose movie1.MPG )

"sounds like a corrupted file ?"
