  1. I have an episode of unlicensed anime that I got off bittorrent (to keep you legal eagles off me it's unlicensed) Eventually, I'm going to convert it to mpg2 for dvd-r consumption.

However, when I play the video, all I get is audio. The video works for about 3 seconds then stops and won't move past that point...exept for the audio.

I've tried GSpot to see if it was some obscure codec, but it came back to a standard Divx format (two drivers for that). Next, I tried VDub to see if it was a bad frame or something that was stopping me. VDub said that there were no bad frames. For kicks, I tried converting it anyway to see if the converted file would sort through the problems, but as guessed, that was a no-go either.

What am I missing here? It's episode 48 of 50, so I can't exactly miss this episode...any ideas?

Can VDub see all the video frames? If so, convert to intermediate file (Uncompress or Lossless/HuffYUV) if you've got the room.

  3. I just ran into that same problem....I tried to chop it up in vdub and stitch it back together but nothing beyond the glitch point was recognized. I still havnt found a solution to it.

  4. I just tried to set the source range in TMPGEnc past the glitch area, but no go...
