If you install the latest beta drivers, the DVDstation will also be able to autodetect SVCD.

I'm owner RealMagic Hollywood+ too. It playes SVCD with no problems, but SVCD has to athorized in I-Author !!! When you create SVCD with NERO 5xxx, Hollywood+ recognized CD as SVCD but won't play it . You able to play SVCD burned with NERO in "File MODE" Hollywood+ .
Good luck Ivo Novak -
Ivonovak: H+ plays SVCD's created with Nero just fine. At least older H+ drivers just require you to change /MPEG2 folder to /MPEGAV (non-standard) in Nero advanced SVCD options. This option isn't available in the early 5.x versions.
I think the newer drivers will play SVCD regardless of the folder naming convention used. -
H++ plays any type of SVCD, even my own SxVCD which just use MPEG2 it plays great, i'm using latest 2.2 drivers and it just works great.
