I have a big movie DVD which is longer than 3 hours, in 2DVD9s. I ripped the movie only files and get more than 5GB from disc#1 and 3GB from disc#2. I want to burn them to 2 DVDRs, and have to shirk the 1st part to fit into my 1st DVDR and the 2nd part is too samll to use all the space of 2nd DVDR.
My question is, is there a way to mix this two parts of movie together and burn to 2DVDRs, so each DVDR contains around 4GB?

Hi arrowhead.
You can do it fairly easily with DVD Shrink v3.0 beta 5.
- First, you will have to rip the DVDs again, as DVD Shrink will not work with movie-only files, or simply use it with the original DVDs to make two movie-only backups (A & B).
- Once done, use "Open Files" (window #1) and select the "VIDEO_TS.IFO" from the first backup (A).
- Click on "Re-author" (window #2), and drag the movie-title from window #1 to the "New DVD" pane in window #2.
- Select "No Compression" and use the "Start/End" feature to crop the movie title so it is 4GB, making a note of were you make the cut (A1).
- Backup! (that will be the content of your first disc)
- Without closing window #2, use "Start/End" again, but this time to select the part you cut out from the previous backup (A2).
- Go back to window #1.
- Using "Open Files", select the "VIDEO_TS.IFO" from the second movie-only backup you made (B).
- Drag the movie title to "New DVD" pane in window #2
- Backup! (that will be the content of your second DVD-R).
