Hi Chrissyboy!
Having discovered that DVDMenuMaker also works on its own, I now sometimes indulge in an MMO (Menu Making Orgy). That is, I prepare all the JPGs (720x576, 72dpi), and make the menus I need for the next 3 or 4 DVDs.
Two days ago I wrote:
"What it keeps doing is staying in memory after finishing. When one uses the TaskManager to look and end this particular task, after some 15 secs a window coms up saying it is 'Not responding'."
I now found out what is at least one effect of this particular behaviour. You know that if one clicks "Encode" and waits a while, the DVDMenuMaker window vanishes.
When now I try to make another menu and re-start the DVDMM by double-clicking its desktop icon as there is nothing else to click on, I get a rather alarming Error message with lots of jargon about "cannot be handled" etc. Who knows what else it will stick its little fingers into, causing inexplicable errors, e.g. when SVCD2DVD or Nero/CopyToDVD are doing their job?
Will you look into this now?
Callan

Ah so the window closes but the process remains and so when you try to relaunch it bombs?
