    my pioneer dvd dv505 crashes in after 1h vcd playback, always after I encode a second part of the movie. I encode hannibal, 1200 mb in mpeg...when I try to playback the 600mb(vcd) made with Nero in the last 30 min the image crashes in squares, why?
    is there a solution?

    wow. thats unlucky. It crashes in squares. hmmm. i have a model similar to yours, DV-535k. Maybe your source file has errors? maybe your CD's are scratched or not burnt properly. Is this a persistant problem or a 1 off?

    No, its a persistent problem. First Its always play cdrw media or cdr-da media, and the second part of the film( this make us think thats a problem in burning or encoding...)Im using DVD2MPG to make mpg from dvd...and the first part(because the movie fits in two cds) there is no problem but the second part crashes in my pioneer dvd but NO in the my pc dvd toshiba player...
