There's usually a few ships docked in Zion. I'm assuming that's why they didn't have an EMP. It's still a little silly that they didn't have one for emergency back up, though. Then again, it's not like the Sentinels came crashing in regularly. It might have been a waste of their limited resources to equip Zion with a dedicated EMP.

I appreciate I might get pistol-whipped (man I miss txpharoph ) for this and whilst I appreciate the wishy-washy shitty reason we were given in the movie, did the original Oracle want too much money for Revolutions, or did she not see that bus coming down 42nd and 3rd?

she died (in real life) from natural causes. duno what from (cancer probably) half way through filming reloaded (but presumably after she had done most of the acting required by her)

im pretty sure at the end of the credits of revolutions there was a message dedicating the film to her.

Oh, and I always doubted the suggestion just after seeing Reloaded but now, having seen Revolutions, I'm frickin' sure of it...

I understand it was linked to diabetes which (and I don't intend this to be comical) is in some way a little ironic, seeing as though was so fond of candy (in the movies).
