  3. I thought it was ok. I would recommend it to anyone who asked me. It answered a lot of unanswered questions from 1 and 2 but there are still some points I haven't understand from this one. I may be slow.

Great movie. Much better than Reloaded even thought I did like that movie a lot. It was a happy ending but I was still feeling sad at what happened with both Neo and Trinity in the end. Don't want to spoil anything so I mentioned it like that. The whole thing with Agent Smith reminds me of the saying that goes something like absolute power corrupts absolutely or something to that effect. He got too greedy and paid for it. Though I do wonder what happened to Neo in the end.

P.S. nissmo300, like the sig but I think it might be a little too much.

Yeah, I think that ending is more like a... ending to make you think about the future of mankind. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I thought they would have played up a baby Neo angle but I guess the little girl was good enough in describing the feelings of man and that if you look at it, love is only a word and that it is not exclusive to humans.

  8. I thought that last fight scene between Neo and Agent Smith was going to give me an epiletic fit with the damn lightning.

Had to laugh though, during the 'emotional' scene with Trinity and Neo it just dragged on so much that when it eventually ended everyone just started clapping. Got to love the crowd involvement you get from the first showing of the movie.

As for what I think of the movie itself I'm still not sure what I think about it. I think when it comes out on DVD I will watch the trilogy all together to see how it all fits.

  9. Critics are tearing it to shreds. I haven't seen it, but from what I have read everyone says its sux...

Almost forgot about that scene. Yeah, it did kind of drag. She kept pausing in between each sentence. But I guess you can forgive given the circumstances.

EDIT: tried to hide the spoiler but didn't work so I removed it.

  11. On a side note, did anyone else go to a first showing of the movie?

If so, did you get warned by like the cinema manager/the studio that recording devices (including mobile phones) are illegal and if found you will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law?

At the cinema we went to they did that as well as having ushers walk through the cinema throughout the movie. I was amazed that they were doing that kind of anti-piracy tactics in my local cinema.

I haven't seen it yet, but since I have no will power I pretty much read spoilers about 2 weeks ago... but my co worker went Wed. Morning and the same thing happened to him.

Lots of people had like laptops and junk in there and right before the movie started the manager came and asked them to take most any electronics they had out to their cars before the movie... silly movie people still will not admit that they are their own #1 leak.

My guess is reviewers/critics. I know that in my local area they didn't allow advance critic screenings so they probably had to go with the general public.

no, but I caught it last night and saw the anti-piracy PSA they ran beforehand. I wish Jack Valenti had been in the audience to hear the peals of derisive laughter that ad got....

I'll go on record and give this one the award for Best Lesbian Nipple Twisting Scene in a Major Studio Blockbuster.

mmmmmm... it's not just good, it's fetishy good.

    Kinda disappointing
The ending fight scene made me think of Goku and Vegeta fighting in DragonBall Z

    They are marketing geniuses though.

Seems to me the Walcholski Bros hurried up and created hype for the last movie and now they will never have to work again. The movies, game, and DVD and rereleased special editions DVDs will probably generate over a few billion when its said and done worldwide.

I thought the first movie was great. I was very conufsed after the second movie and I didnt like as much as the first (esp after the "To be continued"). The third movie left a lot of unresolved issue and after seeing the third movie it made me think the second movie was not that bad .

The flick was pretty good. The action was intense and the acting not that bad. The effects; Great.

It dosn't need to be the 1st matrix to be good. The second one could have left out the ending though (to be continued) kinda cheesy.

Did they explain why all the people in zion were still alive or did i miss that part?

I was under the impression that they had pretty much all died at the end of the second movie.

(since this was showed in the trailers I hope I didnt spoil anything for those that havent seen it yet)

I think what they meant was that all the people aboard the ships (or whatever they are called) were killed except Smith/that other guy. Not the people of Zion.

    Ok thanks
Also why also why did the machines leave and then attack again after they killed all the people in the ships?

I don't think the ships were near Zion when the machines attacked them. Most likely they went out to attack the machines before they reached Zion.

Ok if they were not too close then I could see that scenario happen with the people still being alive.

    Thanks again for responding

    SPOILERS IN MY POST

Meatrix thing was funny (thanks for the link BJ_M)....

    Nipple twisting... yeah, nice...

The movie itself... MAJOR STINK BOMB...

A trilogy should END the story... not leave us hanging and give a half-assed ending... not to mention making the 3rd movie the biggest disappointment of all...

Neo in the middle-realm railway... yeah, whatever, useless scene...

Going to 01... um... story please...

Being able to see the sky above the scorch! Wow... story please... at least let somebody know..

The end of the movie... that's nice and all, but what about the people IN the Matrix, and what about the real world?

They're going to have to have a 4th movie (or a mini-series or a book) to finish this story off. I'm not satisfied at all. At least the ticket only cost $4.

Will human and computers work together now?.... or what?

It's their story... they should tell me what happens... don't make me think and guess..

This should have been the alternate ending:

Neo and Smith locked in mortal combat fists and feet flying..............
All the sudden neo stops..........He says "Whose the Biyach now Smith!"
He snaps agents smiths neck like a twix bar.

The Smith copies try to attack neo at this moment the machines inject antivirus program into neo and he sticks his arm into one of them then this turns them back into normal humans since smith is dead the all get turned back to normal.

Neo get unplugged and then grabs a sentinel and rides it like bronco (similar to Dr. Strangelove) back to Zion.

Before the Sentinel can get a chance to leave Neo touches it and unknowing to the sentinel injects it with a computer virus. The sentinel goes back all the machines crash Morpheus, Trinity, and Neo all share some brewski's and everyone lives happily ever after.

    The End
