I have a couple of Japanese dvds, and are great believer in watching it in the native language with english subtitles, the problem being that when I use smart ripper it takes the default language i.e. english, I know that japanese is on there my standalone dvd player will let me select it.
Is there anyway that I can rip a language that is not the default?

If you ripped in movie mode, the vobs still contain all audio tracks. What is your next step?

try to ripp it with cladmdec cuz it has an option to select which language u want it in

You can tell SmartRipper to only select the audio track you want. I had the similar problem happen to me with The Killer.

On smartripper select the stream processing tab and enable stream processing. From there just check the language you want and uncheck the rest...

That, or pick the proper audio track in DVD2AVI... Cast Away anyone??
