hi i got an gf4 mx 440 it has 64mb ddr its an albatron and it only has s-video out and the normal monitor out, the svideo is linked to my vcr through one of those scart adapters and my monitor is plugged in as normal, i tried recording on my vcr but when i play it on my other tv and vcr there is just a black screen. how do i play normal games on my monitor but record them at the same time with my vcr? is it possible? im just sick of using FRAPS.... btw long time no see vcdhelp.com![]()

have you set the graphics card to output to the TV-out with n-View or whatever they call it now? (under Settings->Advanced in your Display Properties)

ok ok i done that, i recorded my desktop then loaded up my game, the desktop displays fine... but the game it shows the top left corner of it, both desktop and game resolutions are set at 1280x1024

played around with the resolutions of my game ONLY and it seems to show the whole picture on 800x600, but its massive, id like to play in my 1280x1024 how do i do this?

normal TV's can't display much more than 800x600, so I don' think nView will let you set the resolution any higher than that for your TV-out.
Mine certainly won't - although it's an older/cheaper card than yours.
