  1. I have a problem with tmpgenc in 2000 and xp. the program works fine loads and all but when I convert an avi to mpeg the preview does not show video and the program only converts the audio I get a black screen for the video. I have a friend who has win98 works fine. Dows TMPGEnc support win2000 or winxp and if so what Am I missing. Thanks

  6. thanks for the help..... I had used a intel indeo codec to encode the original *.avi and I guess the tmpgenc wont read or play that codec. switched to the windows video 1 codec and it worked fine. every one got me on the right track thanks. does any one know how to make tmpgenc work with files encoded with indeo???
