Okay after working with a few people trying to get the Widescreen DVD issue figured out, the topic became too long and complicated causing confusing to those who have tried to help. The issue isnt resolved yet, but i learned a lot so far, and here is a refreshed overview on the steps I have taken.

Main Question: I have DIVX movies in widescreen on my pc, all I would like to do is burn them and keep the widescreen aspect ratio.

Problem: After burning the DVD, widescreen videos are smushed into the television causing narrow people and a bit o distortion.

(See Previous Thread I Started Below)
https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=186280

Steps Ive Taken: With the help in the previous thread I was told to use TMPGenc to export the video and sound into 2 different files. (.m1a, and .wav) However the settings and such didnt seem to work properly when fallowing previous instructions so I was told to use VirtualDub to rip the audio, and TMPGenc for the video.

Problems to previous steps: When trying to export the audio to WAV format i recieved the error... (This is using the virtualdub program"

"ACM failed to suggest audio decompression format"
fallowed by this error
"AVIOutputWAV: The Handle Is Invalid"

Now I do not get errors if I keep the audio on "Direct Stream Copy" rather than "Full Processing Mode".

New Question To Problem: Do I need to have "Full Processing Mode" selected? And maybey other settings are causing the error?

Other Question: Is there a program that can burn Widescreen Videos and keep the correct aspect ratio with dvd quality? If not, am i doing the right steps?

Helpful Sources: Here is a screen shot by AVICodec that shows the DVD's file information. . .
