I've got an Allin wonder Radeon 9800 connected to my satelilite receiver...but am surprised how grainy the picture looks. Is there anyway to improve the quality of the picture and/ or the capture?
Thanks!

How is it connected? If you're using coaxial cable and the channel 3 or 4 input, that's your problem. I'd recommend using and S-Video connection if your receiver supports it, or if not, RCA cables will do fine.

I have the same PROBLEM of grainy Picture Quality...
However I'm using an AVERMEDIA MediaCenter PCI 500 TV tuner card....
http://www.aver.com/products/tvtuner_UltraTV_pci_500.shtml
My setup is as follows:
The CABLE comes from my wall, hooked it to a spliter, then one coax cable goes to my cable modem and one coax cable to my AVERMEDIA Card.
What factors should I trouble shoot to fix the Grainy Picture Quality?
Thanks

I ended up running an S Video cable from my Sattelite receiver to teh card, and everything was honky dory. Good luck!!
