I've run into this problem with a few series this season. I can reord in widescreen but playback on my TV is 4:3 instead of 16:9. Barring buying a widescreen TV, is there any way to force the aspect ratio change on a 4:3 TV? My Panasonic E80 does not allow you to set a widescreen flag when you record to DVD-R and I haven't any interest in recording to DVD-RAM and importing to the computer to manually set the flag. A simpler solution is what I'm after...
