  1. Hey all,

Can anyone recommend a program I can use to analyze an AC3 file? The reason I'm asking is because I have an XVID movie with 5 channel AC3 sound, and when I play it in WMP9, the centre (dialog) channel is almost impossible to hear compared to the other channels. I've used VirtualDub to demux the AC3, and when I play the resulting AC3 file in WMP9, the centre channel is normal (can actually hear it). Is there anything out there with which I can look into an AC3 file to see which channels are active, and perhaps even look at their waveforms or something? I'd like to be able to see that each channel is playing properly, and which sounds are coming out of what channel. Thanks for any suggestions!

    Ben
