I am in the market looking for a new capture card. i already have a video card so no "all in wonder". I want to be able to capture at large screen sizes like 720x480. I also want to be able to capture using uncompressed/lossless quality. or whatever codec i can get that will capture it near perfect quality. I will then later encode to other formats. My end goal is to be able to capture and the burn them to a dvd to watch on tv. So basicly I am looking for the best capture card. Price doesn't worry me because i want it to last me a long while without having to upgrade. if you have any suggestions, post them please.
