I have tryed to OPEN a VIDEO_TS folder but nothing happened . Why ?

  2. If no information about the movie appear above the Open.. field, then check if you followed the install procedure.

I am having the same problem. Installed most recent binaries, using 10.3, when selecting a VIDEO_TS folder, no information appears. When hit 'encode', it finishes in about 1 second flat and there is no file. What gives?

    same problem under 10.2.6.
i have deleted every file except the .vob files in the video_ts folder. may be this is the problem?

  13. There are no "most recent binaries". There are only "working binaries" and "not working binaries".

The working binaries are ONLY the following ones, as indicated on the installer window:

    http://prdownloads.sf.net/mplayerosx/ffmpegxbinaries.sit

I'm getting the same issues as others here. No matter what I do ffmpegX will no load the media out of the VIDEO_TS directory. I have done a reinstall, and I have the "WORKING" files installed. I followed your guide to a T and it's flat out not doing the job. I'm running 10.3.1. Anyone have a solution?

  17. Please post your process output.

  18. Major is right you are using the wrong bineries. I used to have the same problem until I discovered that there are different versions of the mencoder and mplayer bineries around (by the way, non of them has a version number). The so called "latest" do not work for ffmpegx.

Got to http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=62947 and download the "ffmpegX_recommended_bins".

After doing this everything worked as described on the ffmpegx homepage.

    Good luck!

    stablebinaries.sit

Do I need to install all of these or just one of them, if so, which is the right one?

(and what is the differencies between these binaries?)

  21. The right one is ffmpegxbinaries.sit. The difference is that all others don't work. For detailed installation instructions, check this page.
