Weird problem ive downloaded a avi file. while the quality of the video is great it sounds as if the batterys are running out on the video player.

it may be your system -- look in properties and see what frame rate it is playing at vs. what it is supposed to be playing at ..

I recall having similar proble when I edited video in Premiere and forced non standard audio (different sample rate). Ended up with slow audio. Maybe that's the case. Check properties if typical sampling was used.
If the file is of some valu, u may reedit audio only but prolly u will get not the full length (not matching video length).
