wanna add subs to my svcd's, i downloaded them as .mpg so NOT as .avi
pls dont tell me how it not has to be done....just how I should do it....
need some help pls

You can use the same guide you mentioned earlier. This one:

But you have to use VirtualDubMod instead of VirtualDub. VirtualDubMod can open your Avseq01.mpg file and it can use the Subtitler filter as well. VirtualDubMOD will not give you an 'MPEG Import Filter: pack synchronization error' message. So try that guide again but this time replace VirtualDub with VirtualDubMOD.
