    Okay, im having big trouble with Windows media player 9 and Norton 2004.

    Windows media player will not open...when i click the file to open it, it does nothing. It also will not open if i try to run a music file or movie.

    Norton 2004 is doing the same thing, it just will not open! I installed it but when i double click the file to open norton security it does nothing
    (Norton 2003 does work but its norton 2004 I want running)

    I am running windows xp

    Please help me someone!

    Have you tried an uninstall/reinstall?

    Do you have 2003 and 2004 installed at the same time? When I tried to install 2002 over 2001, Norton, at least for antivirus, said it had to be uninstalled.

    Unistalled everything when went to 2003, so not sure if it is so in later versions, but would assume it is, Norton being Norton.

    I am on 98 and 2k, so maybe XP has problems of its own I am not aware of.
