    has anyone tried?
    just wondering if it's able to display them in correct aspect ratio
    and in progressive mode

    I'm about to purchase 3 PAL DVD's and would like to know if they'll work

    I live in Germany and have only PAL movies.

    There´s no problem. Why should it be one?

    Region 2 PAL works just fine on my NTSC set.

    LVD-2001 is perfect, but only if you don't need to load subtitles! We still wait for new firmware wich must be avail in the middle of October.

    What´s the problem with subtitles? Do you mean subtitles in Divx movies?
    With normal DVDs i have not any problem with subs.
