When I use the SVCD preset to encode a PAL iMovie 3 .mov, the film size is 480 x 576 and the final film is enlarged upside down. If I use the 4:3 autosize (640x480) the film looks like in iMovie (no distorsion), but I think it is not SVCD or DVD compliant. I wouldn't mind to crop the film (I have black bars in all sides and the VHS garbaje at the bottom) but ffmpegX do not allow cropping with the mpeg encoder. Any suggestion?
As you may found I am new to video.

    Thanks
    Pablo

  2. SVCD size is meant for playback on a DVD player, and it will not look stretched at playback time.
