  1. I have 8 movies that I cannot convert to SVCD/VCD. I can't do it using Cinema Craft Encoder without getting the message "Cinema Craft Encoder has encountered a problem and must close". When I try to extract the audio using Vitual Dub I get the message "Couldn't locate decompressor for format DX50(unknown) Virtual Dub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatable codec to decompress the video. Direct Show codecs such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable." When I use Goldwave I get the audio with no problem but when I put the audio and video together using TMPGenc Plus I get the sound but no picture. Anyone know what i should do ??????????

    use gspot to find out what codec you need (sounds like divx) and install that codec ..

  4. Probably need to change the FourCC to DIVX or something along those lines.
    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author
