    Hi when I try to use this to convery a certain file it converts the video but after when I play it there's no sound.

    Now it played in windows media player before I tried it in to TMPGEnc and had sound but after using TMPGEnc I'm not getting any. It only does it on this file so I don't know what's wrong. Can someone help

    oh it's an xvid file and if I half to do anything to get it to work I'm new at this so simple instructions please.

    Check the file with Gspot and make sure you have the audio codec installed. Extract the audio to wav with Goldwave, load your avi then save. Use the wav file as your audio source when encoding.
