I purchased the italian job and i cant get dvd x copy xpress to successfully read the disc in "entire disc" option, i've tried many times, it errors at about 95%, i did it without the option on and it read it and burned but didn't play, any reccomendations? Is there another program that will do this?

I used DVD Decryper to rip it (don't use any options for removing rce) then used dvd2one to compress it with all menu's & stuff, then used ifo edit and loaded each ifo file and selected region free for each which needed it to make multi region and remove rce.....oh then burnt it with nero5
no problems at all

Why put it thru IfoEdit?

I use DVD Decrypter in IFO mode to rip movie only, or in file mode to rip the whole disc. Then use DVD2One to compress. There's no need to use IfoEdit for doing movie or full disk.

Kurd...if u don't want to pay a dime to backup DVD's...just download DVD Shrink. It rips and shrinks, and u can use it to author and remove the extras u don't want.

I use ifo edit because it removes the rce checking better, by letting you know which ifo file contains the rce. It might not only be in the first ifo file, it's sometimes placed in the third or fourth file too and it's easy to preview the dvd in ifo edit to see if you've removed rce before burning a disc. There's nothing worse than burning a disc (a r or rw) then finding when you select the movie it pops up saying this disc is not formated for this region.

Try using DVD Shrink to rip, and Nero to burn onto blank DVD.

You use BLANK DVD's to burn movies? Sheesh...THAT's why I'm having so much trouble backing up my DVD's. Yer a Godsend. [/u]
