Hi, I have just upgraded to XP and have tested out movie maker for capture. Connected the camera to the 1394 port, set movie maker to capture in DV format to the second drive, which is dedicated to caputre and captured the video. I can't see anywhere that tells me how many frames were dropped?

I would use DVIO or WinDV for DV transfers. They both have frames dropped counters, although if you have a good source, you should never have dropped frames with a DV transfer.

Thanks redwudz. If no one else has a suggestion, I'll switch to DIVO, so I can confirm dropouts.
