Hi all, I have just created my first watchable DVD which was great as before all I had managed to create was coasters!!!
Anyway, all was fine until the end when during the last 5 minutes or so the picture began blocking, the sound became patchy and then the picture froze. I used Roxio DVD build to write and burn the disc and the file was derived from an AVI file from my PC. Roxio DVD build requires no pre-encoding as Roxio encodes the file ahead of burning which I think is a great feature but am now wondering if this was part of the problem? Usually I would first encode with TMPGEnc as I believed this was the right thing to do?
Im not experienced enough in this field to describe the settings that I used during the burn process, I just kinda followed my instincts.
Any ideas please?
Thanks in advance, AW

Many, many threads about bad playback at the end of discs. Try a search and read through others' solutions to see which apply to you. Look up your disc type/brand in DVD Media.
Try "stutter at end", "blocking" "skipping". Most were asked very recently.
You posted and left right away. :co If you're hoping to come back to lots of answers, a few more minutes reading would have answered your question.
Congrats on getting as far as you have. :c)There's no place like 127.0.0.1
The Rogue Pixel: Pixels are like elephants. Every once in a while one of them will go nuts.
