When I encode a DVD movie with AC3 audio, I choose passthrough for the audio, if I want to keep the AC3 audio, or is this not possible?
When I trie this, the dolby digital audio is lost, and I get 'plain' stereo.
Choosing AC3 instead of passthrough doesn't work, because mpeg2enc doesn't allow it, and ffmpeg encoding is only for AVI.
Conclusion: DVD encoding with AC3 audio is impossible without the use of other software then ffmpegX?

DVD encoding with AC3 audio is the next option I have to implement in ffmpegX. For now it always uses mpeg audio.
