I need someone to volunteer to play a couple backed up DVD-r's on their stand alone player. They skip on mine. I only have one player and am not positive that it is the media or my stand alone. I'll mail a couple to you if you'll play them and let me know if they work. I was going to do this with a co-worker but as soon as I gave them to him he split up with his wife and moved out of his house. So I need some one to check them please.

Unless they're porno, you can always head to Best Buy or Circuit City, or whatever your local consumer electronics megastore may be, and test them out there without a hassle.

Well I guess the third time was a charm. I tried a third brand of DVD-R and I just made 3 good backups in a row. I guess all the Cheap DVD suggestions were right.
