    I love set-top boxes.

    "One hour DVD mode"

    "Two hour DVD mode"

You know there's no such thing, yeah? It's just a convention that the people who make set-top boxes have made up.

Follow the guides for putting two DVD's onto one DVD-R.

    1. you do not need to RIP dvd; no CSS/RCE to worry about.
    2. assuming you have but one DVD device (burner) on your system copy the contents of each dvd to separate folders on HDD.
    3. start Shrink, Open File, and browse to your first folder and click on the VIDEO_TS.IFO file.
    4. click RE-AUTHOR.
    5. drag movie from first window into the left side of the new one.
    6. going back to the first window ( do not close the newly created second one) click Open File again and select the other folder on HDD.
    7. drag that movie to the left side of the second Shrink window.
    8. you should now have the 2 movie titles in the RE-AUTHORING window. if the bar is green (<=4464) you're good to go...click Back-Up, then burn.
    9. if bar is partially red, select automatic compression. Back-Up, and burn.

    good luck.
