    Hi all,

    I instaled DVD2AVI and AVISynth to try to convert a PAL DVD to NTSC;

    Apart from not succeeding, it seems that AVISynth overrided TMPGEnc Plus settings, and now whenever I try to load a MPEG-2 file, FOR OTHER TASKS, it says that the format is not supported (?);

    It was working perfectly before AVYSynth instalation;

    I have copied/pasted/deleted the "MPEG2DEC.DLL" file thousands of time to and from "system32" folder, uninstalled AVISynth and TMPGEnc hundred times, and still can't get TMPGEnc to return to its previous functional state, annoying !

    I need to convert MPG files in TMPGEnc and now I can't !

    Any help ?

    Thanks,

    Andre

    Tommy Knocker,

    I love YOU !
    Have I told you this before ? LOL !!!!!!!!

    Actually, setting the suggested decoder to high priority didn't work, but setting the Cyberlink one returned TMPGEnc to its functionality;

    Do you have any experience with PAL to NTSC conversions ?

    I've been trying this tyhrough DVD2AVI and AVISynth, following a guide posted here, but I realized that instaling AVISynth affected all my system, even Ulead Video Studio stopped working properly !

    Is there a way to make the conversion without the AVISynth step ? I don't want to install that anymore, too much troubles !

    Thanks,

    Andre
