    The BITRATE determines the file size. So a 224kbps MP2 file is the same size as a 224kbps AC-3 file etc.

    Of course the AC-3 format does compression better than the MP2 format so if you have a high quality sound file to begin with and convert it to 224kbps AC-3 and 224kbps MP2 the file size will be the same but the AC-3 sound file will sound better.

    So when you use that bitrate calculator it makes no difference what format your audio is in as long as you got the bitrate correct.

    As for LPCM audio the bitrate audio has a setting for 1536kbps which is what LPCM (also often just called PCM) uses.
