hi all,i was wondering if anyone here can help me with a small problem that i have with tmpgenc.i would like to know if its possible to encode 5 or 6 avi files to mpeg automatically.(for example select 6 files then tell tmpgenc to convert while im off to bed then in the morning they are all done).chances are that this is a simple problem but i hope someone can help..

Yes, you use the batch encode function. If you're using the wizard then you setup your first project and in the last screen instead of "start encoding immediately" select "create another project for batch encoding." You can even save your project for processing later.

Of if you open the file directly, after all the settings are set, go to File->Add current project to batch list-> MPeg file. It will be added to a list of files to be encoded called batch list. If you want to add another, close it and do the same for every file you want to convert. Once you have all your files in the batch list, go to File->Batch Encode and press Run. A checkbox can be checked to shutdown the computer after the encoding is done.
