  1. Let me explain what I did and the problem. I have some movies on my digital8 camcorder. I can be able to transfer it to my computer through USB port and edit it by the software come with the Sony camcorder called PIXELA. Finally I have my MPEG file, watch it on my PC, and happy with it.

Now I need to convert it and burn it to a CD to make a VCD. The problem I have with both of these software (SimpliCD and Nero6) is when I add this MPEG file to the list and burn, it said the file is in "invalid format".

The format PIXELA put out is MPEG1. It was more than 700MB at first. I thought that might be the problem because the disk is only 700MB but the software can be able to split it right? Still, I did the edit again and made the file smaller than 697MB but still have the same problem.

Anyone know what the problem is? And what is the fix?
    Thanks in advance.

PS: I have CD-WR and used the normal 700MB CD-R

For VCD it must be 352x240 (NTSC) resolution with 1150 Kb/s bitrate. look in "what is VCD" or more specs. You can check your file with avicodec.
